Commercial Drainage

Commercial drainage, open and trading

Shops, pubs, restaurants, offices, care homes, letting agents and managing agents. On a commercial site the drainage problem is rarely the expensive part, the closed doors are, so the work gets planned around your trading hours where it can be and dealt with immediately where it cannot. Clearance, jetting, surveys, repairs and planned maintenance, invoiced properly for whoever is paying.

What is included

Every commercial drainage job, covered

Worked around your hours

Early mornings, evenings and overnight where the site needs it. A kitchen jetted at six in the morning costs the same as one jetted at midday and costs you a great deal less in covers not served. Say what your hours are and the work gets built around them.

Planned maintenance that pays for itself

Scheduled jetting on kitchen runs and yard gullies, at an interval that suits how the site actually operates. Once a site has been on a schedule for a year the emergency callouts largely stop, which is the entire point of it.

Lettings and managed property

Letting agents, managing agents and landlords get a clear report of what was found and what was done, per property, so it can be passed to a tenant or a freeholder without a second phone call. Access arrangements with tenants are handled directly if that is easier for you.

Invoiced properly

Purchase order numbers, account terms, per site and per property invoicing, and reports that a facilities manager can file rather than decipher. The administration around commercial work matters nearly as much as the work.

Questions

Asked and answered

Can you work outside our trading hours?

Yes, and for most commercial sites that is the sensible way to do it. Early mornings before opening, evenings after close and overnight are all normal for us. Tell us what your hours are when you ring and we will fit the work into them rather than around them.

Do you offer planned drainage maintenance contracts?

We do, and for kitchens, pubs and anywhere with a lot of yard gully or grease-laden waste we would recommend it. The interval gets set from what your site actually produces rather than from a standard schedule, and it is reviewed after the first couple of visits.

Can you invoice a managing agent or head office?

Yes. Purchase orders, account terms, per-site and per-property invoicing and consolidated reporting are all straightforward. Tell us how your accounts side needs it presented and that is how it comes.

Do you handle grease traps?

Yes, along with the runs either side of them, which is where the actual problem normally is. A trap that is well managed is only useful if the pipework downstream is clean too, and jetting the run is what stops the Friday evening blockage.

Which commercial premises do you cover?

Shops, pubs and restaurants, offices, industrial units, care homes, schools, HMOs and blocks of flats, across Southampton, Romsey and the surrounding area. If your site is a bit further out, ring and ask rather than assume, particularly for planned work.
